School Uniform

It is our expectation that our children wear a school sweatshirt as part of our school uniform policy. Although it is preferable that the sweatshirt has the Hawksmoor logo, it is not compulsory as long as it is Navy Blue. Inexpensive sweatshirts can be purchased from leading supermarkets and high street retailers.

We provide school uniform grants to children going into Reception and Year 3 that are in receipt of Free School Meals and other benefits. We also sell pre loved uniform at greatly reduced prices.

Casey's Schoolwear

Casey's Schoolwear are our new uniform provider where you can purchase a range of uniform including our Sweatshirts and Book Bags with school logos on them.

Winter Uniform:

Black/Grey Trousers/Skirt/Dress - Required

White Polo Top/shirt - Required

Navy Sweatshirt or cardigan (Branded or Unbranded with school logo) – Required  

Black Trainers or Black Shoes (no high heels/boots) -  Required

Branded School Book Bags – Optional

Summer Uniform:

Light Blue Gingham Dress -  - Optional

Black/Grey Shorts – Optional 

Jewellery

·         Permitted: stud earrings are permitted and a basic watch – both of which need to            be removed for PE

·         Not permitted: hooped earrings, SMART watches (e.g fitbits) or any other items of            jewellery

Hair

·         No shaved lines in hair

·         Hair that is below the shoulders must be tied up

·         Please keep hair accessories to a minimum avoiding excessive beads               and large bows.

·         No to coloured hair or coloured hair extensions.

Other:

·         No nail varnish or fake nails.

 

PE

On PE days, pupils are to come to school wearing their PE kit, this is an extension of their school uniform.

Correct PE kit MUST be worn.  Children will not be allowed to participate in PE unless they have the correct clothing. If this is the case, parents will be contacted via text.

PE Kit

·         Plain, white T-shirt 

·         Navy blue or black shorts or tracksuit bottoms (preferably plain)

·         Trainers

·         In colder weather children should wear their Windrush School Jumper or cardigan over their white t-shirt.(No coloured/branded hoodies or jumpers).

 Swimming

For swimming: children will need a towel, a costume and a swimming hat.
